I was specially impressed at the trust and hope which the patients expressed. I am sure it was well placed and that your work will help many to make the most of their lives and mobility.

Mr. John Hatt is a free lance journalist and a well-known travel writer. He has visited more than hundred countries and number of voluntary social organisations in these countries. On initiative from Sir John Wilson, CBE the Chairman of IMPACT Foundation, U.K. he visited the Society in April, 1996. During his one week visit he observed minutely the working of the Society and visited number of previously operated patients at their homes in distant villages travelling on rough countryside roads. He has written an article for Telegraph Magazine of 27th September, 1997, which received encouraging response.
The artificial limbs and appliances which you are producing at something like one tenth of the international commercial cost are remarkable.
