Candid’s aligners are made from clear, BPA-free thermoplastic with remote monitoring of your progress through regular at-home teeth scans with the ScanBox included in the treatment cost.
Candid invisible aligners have a more thorough diagnostic process than other clear aligner brands. Using a digital scanner such as Medit, Dr. Merchant can take a fast and precise 3D digital scan of your teeth and map out a custom treatment plan just for you.
- Step 1:
- Comprehensive evaluation and records are done at initial visit to determine if Candid is the right treatment for you. Records will include taking 8 different digital photos, Panorex and Ceph x rays and digital scanning of upper and lower teeth.
- Step 2:
- Short visit to our office to approve your proposed treatment sequence and time it will be completed in.
- Step 3:
- Delivery, fitting and practicing scan taking with Scanbox to ensure the patient understands the sequence. We are able to monitor progress and give feedback to patients every two weeks via Candid App and Dr. Merchant will tell you when it’s time to move from one aligner to the next based on information from these scans.
